IG-541 reduces oxygen from 21% to ~12.5% — below the combustion point of most materials but above the human survival threshold for short exposure. Used in data hall critical loads, switchgear rooms, archives. Discharge time 60 s, hold time 10 min per EN 15004 / NFPA 2001.
