- All sprinkler component types covered by hENs require CE mark for placement on the EU market.
- Free movement principle but national insurance/AHJ regimes still apply.

Certificeringsroute
- Use CE-marked components with valid DoP (Declaration of Performance)
- Design per EN 12845 (or national equivalent: PN-EN, BS EN, NEN-EN, ÖNORM EN, etc.)
- Apply national overlay (LPC, VdS, APSAD, CCV, etc.)
- Local AHJ acceptance
Belangrijke regels
- CE alone does NOT satisfy national approval — most member states layer VdS, APSAD, LPCB, BOSEC, etc. on top.
- Brexit: UKCA mark required for GB (England/Wales/Scotland); CE accepted indefinitely under current government policy.
